From what I have read...Not sure to what extent but estrogen promotes excess fat and excess fat can increase estrogen levels.

it's the water combined with the fat ...armadex didn't do the trick for me ..I found out later that the molecule is to big and can't pass through the cell membrain of fat cells .....

Letrozol is femera, which is an anti-estrogen.

Femara is 10-30x more effective than Arimidex in it's ability to pass thru the cell membrane of lipid (fat) cells and inhibit the activity of aromatase -- in other words, Femara is far superior in lowering estrogen levels in fat cells. This has two benefits for BBs; (1) Estrogen 'attracts' water, so less water retention (2) an average male BB is around 10%BF, that's a lot of lipid cells with aromatase inside them, so a substantial percentage of aromatase is left untouched by Arimidex due to it's poor ability to enter lipid cellsArimidex is approximately 80% effective at inhibiting aromatase, Femara is around 95-97%

Estrogen promotes fat retention and accumulation - so in a word, yes. Their are a few abstracts in the Journal of Endocrinology (see my sig link) on testosterone therapy leading to both muscle and fat gain. The culprit for the fat gain being the testosterone 's little step sister, estrogen.

If you did a heavy testosterone cycle with no anti-e's, you would be going mostly for bulk. It's actually safer on the system though. Estrogen aids in a few beneficial "sides", like keeping healthy cholesterol values and B/P. Going on heavy testosterone therapy with a heavy dose of anti-e's puts your body in an akward state to try and work it's self to its comfort zone, a balance, homeostatis if you will. But the big draw back is the effect on bodyfat and water retention. So it's good to take just enough of an aromatase blocker/inhibitor to get the job done... but don't go overboard on it...

Yes, I have found it to unfortunately raise the estrogen related area fat levels quite nicely lol

Aromasin helped tremendously. Aromasin has ~90-95% effectiveness pluys it is irreversable. Ari and Femera are both around the ~40-50% range .I would highly recommend not using Femera though. Femera for one kills your sex drive and can cause some problems there, and secondly it causes an increase in aromatic enzymes, which is bad.

Some estrogen does aid. Either way, you dont have to worry about losing that aid by using anti-estrogens. Many fear your levels will drop too low. Myself and others have used high levels of anti-es and reported levels completely within normal (1250 test + 25mg Aromasin + 20mg Nolva ED ==> 30pg/ml E2 norm=16-34) Many would have said that dose was overboard, but apparently not.
