    QUICK! reply before i inject!

    is 1.5" inches on a needle too long to penetrate completely if im going to inject in the deltoid? what happens if i hit bone? does that hurt?

    In theory you could just inject at most an inch worth of needle in, but I wouldn't do it. Something that long should only be used for glutes unless you're a pretty seasoned injecter.

    oh ya it will hurt you. Use 1" but dont put the needle all the way in. Leave a little outside the skin.

    IMHO use 5/8...then you can put it all the way in.

    1 inch definately..in the side delt ..depending how big you are you should be able to handle the entire 1 inch to the hub without any danger of hitting bone
