Hi
For someone to get accelerated hair loss when using steroids do they already have to have started losing their hair?
for example would a 22 yr old get accelerated hair loss if he has no previous signs of losing his hair naturally?
thanks

Sory for my bad english, but I think youll understand it...
Men whit genetics for male hairloss has increased values of the hormone dihydrotestosteron (DHT) in the scalp, as well as an increased sensitivity for the hormone itself. DHT makes a hair(straw) to not grow as long, and makes it thinner. The normal haircykle is affected, and youll lose significant more hair(straw) than before.
A good advise is to STAY AWAY from aas that is notorious for causeing increased/accelerated hairloss in many users, ex Winstrol.
My father started loosing his hair when he was like 19, so did his father. I havet noticed any big diffrence yet, now that im 21 and used some aas sometimes. BUT, I have maked an apoitment whit an hairspecialist, to let him look at my scalp and se if he can see any signs of accelerated hairloss. There are ways to lower the DHT-value in the scalp, and it will work if the treatment is started in an early stadge.
So, for your question; No. Signs of not losing hair before use of aas, does not mean that accelerated hairloss cant occur. But, you wont go from thick hair to bald in a month, and signs of hairloss you really cant miss, due to all the hair on the pillow and so on.
No not necessarily, however if you are prone to hair loss using AS could trigger MPB and cause your hair to start thinning. It just depends on your genetics and how your body responds to the gear. Some guys can do all the DHT derivatives, E.g. winny they want and not suffer any hair loss, but in those that are prone to MPB the effects can be devastating on the hair line. You can help minimize the effects of DHT by using Rogain, Propecia, or Avodart, but only with gear that converts to DHT like Test. For the DHT derivatives, Propecia and Avodart won't do anything or very little. You will need a good topical like Rogain, Fluridil, or Spironolactone to combat DHT in the scalp.Quote:

It seem like every cycle we do he looses a little hair, not noticable if you are looking at him, but his pillow will be covered in hair when he wakes up in the morning. Me on the other hand has never had a problem with hair loss, hell I can't even pull it out. Every time we come off his hair slowly stops falling out, and eventually stops all together. The funny thing is, is that neither one of us has MPB running in the family. So that goes to show that it treats every body differently no matter of family history.
