    Cure for the EQ hunger....

    Holy shit...
My buddy needs some help. Hes been on EQ for about 4 weeks and it hasnt kicked in yet. But tonight we were watching TV and the fucking guy gets up and starts eating. He eats 2 cans of tuna, beef jerkey and then runs out and gets salad and cheese. Hes fucking screwed now because he cant control it and he needs to cut.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

    1. Buy more clean foods, tuna, chicken, veggies etc etc.

    2. Look up CLA, its a pretty good appetite suppressant!

High protien, very low carbs, moderate fat just like Atkins Diet. If he stays in ketosis he can lose weight while ingesting large amounts of food.

Another thing that helps with hunger is "volume". If he eats food high in volume and low in calories, the body is tricked into thinking that it is getting plenty of calories. This is also known as the "air diet", where people control hunger by taking in shakes loaded with extra air bubbles to control appetite. Good canidates for controling hunger are: broccolli, lettuce, jello(as mentioned by BB), celery, and any other food high in fiber and volume, and low in calories. Obviously, your friend should continue to eat the standard pre-contest diet, but these tips can help control his appetite.

Maybe your buddy already knows this but he should be sure to eat every couple hours. My experience with EQ was that I was killer hungry every couple hours but it didn't take a lot to fill me up each time. I ate at least 7 times a day and I didn't gain any fat. I did about 3800 cals/day but now that I look back I wish I'd done more -I just was so paranoid about getting fat I forgot I was ON GEAR for chrissakes.
