    surgery and roids?

I planning on starting my 2nd cycle very soon:
    1-4wks d-bol 30mg/day
    wks 1-16 enanthate 500mg/wk
    wks 1-15 EQ 400mq/wk

Here is my problem: I have played hockey alot when I was younger (6-21) and broke my nose 3 times. Well I have finished playing hockey and am looking to get my nose fixed (yes nose job) as its pretty messed up, my appointment has me booked for xmas holidays, which would be the middle of my cycle. Was wondering if it is possible to do both at the same time (yes, I know, stupid), but I have a really busy school sched and the only time I could get the surgery done is over xmas. What are possible risks associated with having surgery while on the juice. I know this may sound like a stupid question but I am not sure what is involved with the anesthetic of the surgery and how it may be affected by the roids...

I broke my arm earlier this year and had to go to surgery about 4 weeks into a d-bol/test/EQ cycle. I had no problems, but I have read that complications can become a little more prevelant while using steroids . These include more bleeding than normal. I assume you will also be out of the gym for at least a week afterward, maybe two or three. The smart thing to do would be to wait on the cycle, but how often do we really do the smart thing?

steroids effect your immune system, which means that your healing time is longer, id wait till your off to get surgery, if you've waited this long another few months shouldnt make a difference....good luck bro...Madmax

Steroids help with healing! That's why we use them in bodybuilding. After my brother had his sholder surgery the doc put him on winstrol for faster healing.

I've thought alot about this recently because I am actually in the same predicament you are in right now, except maybe my school shedule is a little more flexible than yours. Peronally I wouldn't go under general anesthetic on cycle, but at the bare minimum I would telll the surgeon because you won't likely see the anesthesiologist before the surgery, so your surgeon would discuss it with him. Keep us posted.

Is this guy a real doctor? Or someone just talking out his ass? Don't believe everything you read. Remember most doctors know jack shit about steroids . My sports medicine doctor who is a specialist for healing with anti-inflammatories and steroids would rip this guy a new A-Hole. Even my other doctor knows steroids boost your immune system.

wtf, ask anyone on this board, steroids effect your immune system..and as for the link i provided it is good info on your immune system..Steroids strongly suppress the immune system, which makes them a poor choice for treating any condition in which infection is likely. .if you want ill find you a link that a doctor talks about steroids and your immune system...if you dont believe me run a search on the net about steroids and your immune system.....Madmax

ok, well i decided to talk to the plastic surgeon and ask him. He will prolly say no to doing both at the same time, but oh well, better safe than sorry...the only thing is that im going to mexico for spring break and I wanna be cut, and have a straight nose, lol ...the question is which one is more important....
