I have been hearing a lot about how sust isnt good because it has multiple testosterone esters. Why is it more of an advantage to run a single ester rather than sust? Is it more keepable gains? Does sust cause more gyno? What does everyone think?

Well, with the 4 esters, you're looking at a more frequent injection schedule in order to get the most out of them all.
Timing can be a nightmare when dealing with 4 different esters.

Sust can be a very good test but IMO for newer users stick to enath and cyp. Its much easier and only requires injection twice a week.
They are all one compound - the same shit... testosterone. How you choose to use testosterone is up to you. Stable blood levels will help keep androgenic side effects low (water/fat retention) and avoid hormonal swings. Essentially the reason why esters are formulated - to give patients less frequent visits to the doc but keep blood levels of the hormone even. You can do testosterone propinate EOD, or cypionate every 4-5 days. Sustanon has 30mg of propinate in it so you have to administer for the shortest ester... so Sust250 is an EOD thing. Which requires a healthy 875mg per week dose... sometimes that can be too much to justify using it.
Sustanon really is best for it's intended purpose - Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). And for that purposes it's patented release of esters is used at a dose far less than what would give a favorable anabolic response - one shot of 250mg every 2 weeks or so (you need over 300mg of testosterone per week to get a good anabolic effect - reasons why bodybuilders and other athletes use anabolic-androgenic steroids)...
