Who here doesn't have health insurance?

Who here doesn't have any health insurance? All this talk about people going to the hospital lately kinda freaks me out. My work doesn't offer it as it's a small company. I'm sure there are others that thier company doesn't offer health plans. What do you do? I might go look into getting individual health insurance if i'm the only one here without it but it's expensive stuff.

I just renewed mine today. $1008 with 10% co-pay on dr. visits, surgeries, etc. Last year I only paid like $580...sucks to get older!

BTW, that's for the whole year.

I have a cheap policy with a huge copay. I dont ever get to use it but because of the big copay but if anything big ever happens it will pay 100% after my copay is paid.

You guys are all lucky. I don't have any and everytime I get bloodwork done, I'm out 90 dollars. I don't go see a doc unless I'm dying. (besides bloodwork)

My HMO encourages you to get bloodwork because it helps prevent you from having worst more expensive health problems later in life. This is how I found out my cholesterol and stats were in excellent condition so no reason not to do AS.

canada has a pretty good national plan, that is why your prescriptions are cheap as hell sometimes half of what we pay, wish the US would adopt it.

HEALTH NET. 72 dollars. I cant remember the rates but that was the best inexpensive one and I did a lot of research
There is AN AWESOME one but EXPENSIVE that I currently have. Its an HMO and costs 200 dollars a month. 100 percent coverage. I know HMOs suck but there are certain benifits that I cant discuss.

I have it now, but a few years back I didn't have any and was playing in 2 soccer leagues constantly. Luckily, nothing happened, but now I realize how STUPID I was for doing that! ACL runs about $15,000+
