Painful Injections - ice, heat, or nothing after?

Just curious here, as the Prop injections are quite painful even whjen cut with oil or B12, especially the Delts. Amazing how fast you can wake up when you roll over onto the painful delt!

So for a painful injection, what it the best answer to promote recovery for the injected area:
1. a Heat Pack
2. An Ice pack
3. Nothing, just suck it you pu$$y

I always use heat right after my shot. I don't use a heat pack but I jump right in the shower and turn it on to as hot as I can bare and let it run on the injection spot for about 10 to 15 minutes.

have you been massaging the spot afterwards? I do like the shower idea also. Are you doing the shots am or pm? I know if I do in the morning it seems to get worked out some before bedtime. Just thinking outloud...

I just message the shot area for about 10 seconds and that works fine.

Never thought of jumping in the shower afterwards...personally, i always showered first - it seemed like it made the injection go much smoother. I always follow that up by massaging the area for a minutes or so...seems to have worked for me.

I also used to run the syringe itself (not the needle) under warm water to help with the injection - just another tip for smoothing out your injections, hopefully it'll help w/ the post-inj pain.

i say suck it up. havent tried heat. in fact, i think ill do that right now. my prop has been killing me lately.

Thx - will give the heat a try. Massage, showers, and light cardio all seem to do little. Heat pad is my next option.

Love pain in the gym - don't like pain in form of needle. My girlfriend knows I'm a tough guy, but sees the pain I'm in after that damn 10% BA Prop.

BAHAHAHAHAHA.....not sure she would be my girlfriend after that, but it would be hilarious.

She's cool - helps me with my injects so I can't say anything but good things about her. At least I don't have to bend myself all over the place to shoot my glute, too damn bloated for that.

Just a little note about the massaging the area after injections, do not massage or aspirate when doing insulin or any other coagulant injects for those of you who do. Sorry just learned that the other day and thought I'd share it.

I think you should massage it more then just 10 minute afterwards... massage it throughout the day for hours on day of shot.. next day massage it, even for as long as there is a hard lump, keep at it, want to break up the oil, move/spread it around, helps clear out the oil from the muscle, minimize scar tissue development and improves the bio availability.
