    Sending money to a source

How do you send cash to your sources? My source ask for a Bday card to be sent. But I am curious if i should be putting my return address on the outside of the envelope? How would you do it? Fake name or real name and address?

I think I would go with fake name, correct address (unless he knows your address already , if so fake)

No sense in giving the Feds anymore info than you need to IMO.

    Good luck bro'

Damn I missed that...........your sending cash??????

I'd be a little paranoid about sending cash, what is to stop your source form saying he never got it?? Again just my $.02

its hard to say, if a source does a high volume, its easier for them to keep track of your payment and have it sent accurately if you send cash...it does take some trust though, no doubt!

My source is very reliable and well known. I have been sending him cash for a while now. I send it Priority mail with conformation. So I know when he gets it. And If you use fake address what happens if it got returned somehow?

I agree w/ Grant , No flame intended Terminator if you fell comfortable sending cash more power to ya!

You would be better off not having paperwork form Western Union or other online payment options.

    Either way good luck bro'

Same here... its scary the first time but my source is a good guy and I now trust him thoroughly. Only thing I can say is maybe first time deal, keep the money at an amount you can afford to loose and have nothing to show for it.

ok if your source is reliable I have no problem sending cash with my real name and address. Why I do this is because lets say they need to return the letter because it is the wrong addrees, if you do not put you return address that money is gone and your out money and no juice either.

I think cash is the best way to go, saves on the transfer fee for western union or moneygram, you can use delivery confirmation so you can confirm when it was recieved. I would also put your real return address on it, just don't enclose what your order is. If something happens, it will get returned to you, theres no way to get in trouble for sending your good bro a little money for his "birthday" If it was illegal to mail cash then my grandma would have been arrested on every birthday I had growing up.

In your case you may as well put your correct address, its only a birthday card right! If something goes bad in the postal service you still could get your money sent back to you.

I prefer Evocash over Moneygram and Moneygram over western union. I'm still a little weary about sending cash, but if you put delivery confirmation, they cannot deny that they received the package.
    just my opinion

if you trust the person, and they trust you... send cash

western union fees suck, and priority mail is only like $3...

but 99% of the time you must use WU or the similar
