    Aromasin likely to effect lipids?

It's been previously thought that exemestane(Aromasin ) had no negative effects on lipids since it worked at disinguaging binding affinity of estrogen, and not aiding in preventing conversion like it's "cousin" anti-e's Arimidex & Letrozole .

Now, I have never seen a study, or blood work showing Arimidex effects lipids, but it has to be a possibilty given it's mechanism of action. It's probably not strong enough in the doses we take(or possibly up to 1mg) for it to produce a drop in HDL. I personally use L-dex specifically because femara has shown to be detrimental to maintaining a healthy HDL level.

I recently found a caption of a study on Pubmed barley mentioning lipid effects with aromasin. I'll be doing some further research on this over the next wk or so to see if I can locate anymore finding pertaining to lipid effect from this particular AI.

If anyone runs across any material which might be helpfull, please contribute.

This study also mentions a marginal drop in HDL with the addition of Aromasin during tamoxifen treatment

These two stating no change, the latter even suggests an improvment in triglycerides

From what I gather, the majority of readings find no adverse effects, but theirs still a slight possibility that effects on HDL can occur. Individualistic indeed.

All in all though, as far as case studies comapred between the inhibitors and inactivator, Aromasin certainly shines through.

On a personal level, Ive noticed much better results.

However, its hard to really control that observation so I dont quite draw a conclusion from that.
