Do injections of water-soluble compounds encourage local muscle growth?

Well, what do you guys think? I'm sticking myself with winny every day in different places in hopes that this is true. I understand the argument against esterified compounds in oils- the oil sits in fat deposits and as the ester breaks off, the compound is gradually released into the blood stream. But this doesn't happen with water-soluble compounds like winny and test suspension. It is available for use by the muscle immediately upon injection, so it stands to reason that the muscle into which it is injected would recieve the most receptor stimulation.

But I'm no biology major. Lemme know what you think.
