    possible infection

A bro of mine injected 1ml t2 and 1ml winny into his delt on saturday and he just mentioned to me that it hurts, so I told him I would look at it... Anyway his delt is all red and hot to the touch. I know this could mean that he might have infection but I was wondering if anyone had anymore knowledge about the subject and maybe a suggestion of what to do?

some brands have higher levels of BA (benzyl alcohol) which could be the case.

also, some brands of winny are a bitch to inject. being water base and crystalized, it tends to create some soreness.

Was this his first injection? I know when I ran winny in inj. into my quads it would crystalize and make the area red, hot, and hurt like hell but I had no infection.

I would just watch it and if it doesn't get better in a few days then it could be a infection and he should get to the doctor for some anti-biotics.

I am on first cycle and several injects have gotten red and hot but go away after 5-7 days. Seems to help to shake vial up and use heat on injection area afterwards.
