11-25-2003, 08:35 PM #8
Well guys were like, WHOA ALL THOSE TABS AND VIALS when really it's not THAT much. The cash sure is a lot though.
It was pretty skillful of me, wasn't it. Now I'll try to not run over myself with my own car. LOL.

Don't worry, this will not cause a shortage of Juice in NY; or any where for that matter.

I've been told that this guy is not a net source. With all that cash, I'd be willing to bet that there is alot more gear/drugs hidden that they didn't find...

What's up N4cer?

10k pills and 11k vials is nothing. 2 million bux is something! Something doesn't add up there.

If that guy is smart, he has A LOT more money hidden in security boxes. You dont need dozens of lap tops to run a steroid operation.
Or he is REALLY stupid and kept ALL his money in one place like an idiot.
What are the chances of them getting search warrants for any addresses they find from his place or computers?
Can they do that?? Get a warrant based on his addresses?

Also 11,000 vials is a lot, but I have a freind that appartment got raided but a task force for something else, and they found his sauce... He had 20 sus amps, 20 zambon winny amps, and 2 bottles of QV eq...
Get this one, they charged him individual for each amp as 1 phelony B charge for illegal possions of steriods or some other Bull ****.... So figure thats 42 counts of a phelony b possession charge... His lawyer keeps postponing, but he will get it dropped to a misdormeanor charge because for such a low amound you can argue it was for personal use... BUt this dude is ****ed because even if it was 11,000 amps, that is 11,000 counts right there, plus they probally can charge you per tab, so another 10,000 counts, your look at 21,000 counts buddy.... Maybe if he is Ronnie COlmen he could argue its for Personal Use.....

Address and name given...
November 26, 2003 -- Cops acting on a tip from U.S. Customs arrested a suspected steroid dealer yesterday and discovered $2 million in cash hidden in his safe, along with more than 10,000 "performance-enhancing" pills, law-enforcement sources told The Post.
Richard Burak, 52, of 401 E. 74th St., was charged with money laundering and criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.
He's suspected of involvement in the sale of illegal steroids , a booming black-market industry in a city where the performance-enhancing drugs are sold under the counter in health clubs and other outlets catering to fitness enthusiasts.
Burak was in custody at Manhattan Central Booking after the raid on his luxury apartment in the Amherst building late yesterday afternoon.
His home was in disarray when officials from the NYPD, the U.S. Customs Service and the U.S. Postal Service stormed in, sources said.
Janet Rappaport of the Customs Service said officials had been tracking a number of suspicious packages sent to Burak's address they thought contained contraband.
They tipped off local authorities after a package sent from Taiwan was intercepted by San Francisco customs on Nov. 17, Rappaport said.
In a joint operation by NYPD narcotics officers and U.S. Customs personnel, authorities made a "controlled delivery" of the package, which was said to contain pills, authorities said.
Then, armed with a search warrant, they searched the apartment, broke into the safe, and discovered the cash.
One source said cops were "stunned" when they saw the loot.
"The apartment was a mess, but the money was very neat," the source said.
Authorities said they were hoping Burak would cooperate with investigators and the pills were being checked at a police lab.
A Mercedes-Benz believed to belong to Burak also was seized, according to the source.
Cops said they found 1,100 vials and more than 10,000 pills believed to contain steroids. Repeated calls to Burak's home were not answered.

Conflict of facts.
11,00 vials? Or 1,100?
If the man had that much cash and so “few” vials, I doubt he was working solo. To get his gear from Taiwan, the man would have ordered more in bulk, I doubt he’d be that “low.”
Oh well. Unlucky sap. I wonder how long they were onto him. Just from the intercepted package Nov 17th?

Yeah, if he was ordering anything from taiwan he's not big time.. any of the UG labs basically ONLY order powder.. and as far as i know there are no powder labs in taiwain. Not only that, but i'm sure they've got better ways of getting it than through the mail.
11-26-2003, 10:11 AM #32
I agree Mr. Adams.
Also he’s not “big time,” so to speak. I do believe though, his superiors better be crackin down on his ass. I bet he does, however, have the potential to cause a shake down. Not cool.
KeyMastur says they’re after me next. (no I’m not a source, don’t be silly)

edit: there's still a slim chance it was PL, so be suspicious for a while until we know that it's not the DEA using his accounts.

11000 vials is **** all, 2 million cash is something REALLY BIG.
Say a vial is approx. 12$/vial that is 132000$. That is **** all compared to 2 million IN CASH.
Watch out local NY people, there is going to be some HUGE cops in the next couple of months.
