first injection - please read

hey everyone

well, I did it.

yesterday (thr) at 4pm central time I entered the dark side.

I injected 200mg of T-cyp into my right quad
it was BritishDragon.

it went text book, a lot easier than I thought.

tore off the cap of the jug
used a 20g to draw
heated the oil under hot water for 10min while stretching the quad.
changed to a 23g
swabbed my quad
went in like butter
aspirated and got an air bubble
pushed in 1cc very slow
pulled out slowly
just a small drop of blood from the hole
pressed the pad against the hole and it was good to go.

i massaged my quad for 20 minutes then took a brisk walk for 30 minutes outside.
I even went to the mall afterwards with my girlfriend to keep walking around.

Well, it's 17hours after the shot and the leg is not that sore or stiff.
Nothing compared to the DOMS of a good leg workout.

Did I do the right thing by massaging and keeping the blood flowing afterwards?

Is it ok to use a heating pad if the soreness or stiffness increases?

Congrats!!!! I always inject in the Quad and it's almost always pain free!

Congradulatons bro. Well done. Massaging the site after an injection is not a bad idea, Although 20min. may be a little overkill. I massage my sites for 3 or 4 min. and have no probs. Heating pads work well too. Always remember to aspirate and use sterile injecting techniques. It only the beginning.

my first went just as smooth. Monday,12/1. I had one of my long time friends help me...she is a nurse...smooth and she showed me a bunch of other places to inject as well..

good luck on the cycle bro..

I have a q? How exactly and why did you heat the oil ?
I still dont get the concept of aspirating... what is that?
What is wrong with poke and push ?

I heated the oil to help it move quickly into the muscle.
probably not needed but better safe than sorry.

I just ran the syringe under hot tap water for 10 minutes.
then I put the 23g on.

aspirating is an absolute!
once the pin is all the way in, pull up on the plunger to make sure your are in the muscle

you should get an air bubble.

poke and push? never heard of that

how much do you pull back?

In the quad... almost dont need to massage in that spot... For me its a painless area... I just stuck 2.5 CC's in my quad yesterday and today I still wouldnt know I did it today and there was no massage... put even just 1 CC in my glute, calf or other places and I definately would know it the next day with a hardening lump, etc... I think the quad is physically different with looser fibers between muscle threads, allows the oils to spread on their own better. The quads are just basically one of the most perfect locations for intramuscular injections, however keep in mind need more locations for a cycle so you dont over use the same spot... ideal is not to inject same spot more then once every 2 weeks.

You pull back until you feel pressure which is immediately if you are in the muscle. If you hit a vein, it will pull back easily and fill up with blood. That is why you are aspirating, to make sure you aren't shooting into your vein.

When you aspirate you'll feel a little resistance which is what you want. Just pull back far enough to see air bubbles in the syringe. As long as you don't aspirate any blood your good ta go. If on a rare occasion you do, simply pull out the needle, expell the blood from the syringe, change needles, and then rejab.

With Cyp you have 4 or 5 weeks before you'll need the nolva or clomid...and even then you really dont need it all that bad... like every other day low doses... its when you get past week #7 that you can really start making tons of estrodiol and need estrogen blockers in your system.

Although we agree on most points Ntpadude, I disagree here. Take Nolva daily with each cycle. At most, you can skip the first week, but best to be overly cautious. Don't start anything until you have all your meds so stick with your plan and wait.

That BD test cyp don't hurt a bit.

I've done about 7 shots of it into my right quad and have never felt anything the next day not even a bit tender. Admitedly it was only 1cc shots and with 25g pins.
