To members... Bodybuilding A hobbie or a future career?
Ok guys just out of curiosity... How many of you guys on here plan on keeping bodybuilding a healthy recreation? and how many plan on going the distance? i.e. Turning pro or trying your best to get there?
I'd like to say I hope on going as far as I can go with it... I'd love to someday turn pro... I do believe i have the genetics and will to do it... How about the rest?

I only do it for my benefit...I choose not to share my greatness with others (well except a few lucky ladies). lol

This is pretty much the only form of exercise I like, so I guess I'll stick with it for life, see what happens over the long haul. Don't wanna hassle with the contests, though. Figure I am what I am, a contest ranking won't affect that one way or the other.

Not anyone can become a pro BB so going in with an attitude like "im going to be a pro and live of the money i make" can be dangerus. Sure let it be your lifestyle but dont quit your job yet
It´s a lifestyle, future amateur hobby for me. Nothing else.

I don't really have any interest to compete at any level. I just want to get into best shape that I can, and maybe become a freak along the way.

..ITS LIFE....i hated bodybuilders. i thought they looked sick and silly on stage..like freakin freaks..until i saw muscle in action and that was by the former pro-wresler JIMMY SUPERFLY SNUKA...muscle in action kicking ass..that was back in roughly 1980/81....22+ yrs later--still lifting..i just wish i was more informed about roids in the early 90's..who knows maybe i could have furthered my pro-wrestling career..but working out its what i do..its like the NWO........ITS 4 LIFE

definitely a life-thing for me. i have no ambitions to compete...i like the way i feel about myself, i love seeing the changes i've made, from an overweight kid, to a scrawny ass college student...now bulked up a bit with muscle...i love seeing where i can take my body - and it's a healthy obsession to have -
here's to life

I like the feedback i'm getting from you guys... everyone has slight different opinions about bodybuilding and what they want to do with it... But the one thing that you all have in common is your passion for the sport... Keep the thread going fellas... Very interesting to see your thoughts on the subject.

Don't want to compete (not that I could). I do it because it makes me feel SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!

anyone else care to comment?

I have absolutly no assperations to get up on the stage.............I just like challenging myself. I enjoy weight training plain and simple. It's a single person sport imo. You get out of it what you put in.....it's not a team thing.........success and failure is all on you. That's why I like it.

First off congratulations man... It takes alot of will to prepare for a show and good luck with your diet and training... but more with the diet it's rough... But i was wondering is that your precontest cycle you have there? and if so are you going to add some... deca , winni, and clen to it? just curious... Peace.

i just do it to try to get my body to its peak physical condition. our bodies are the best tool that we can use, so why not make it as good as possible.

It's a hobby. But I can't picture not having it in my life.

I do it because I believe the human body is the most incredible tool on the planet, and I love pushing it to the max and seeing what it is capable of.
