    Ephedrine

    Can someone clear something up for me. I read that ephedrine has a similar structure to amphetamine. Then I was talking to a guy last night who said that it actually contains amphetamine. Does anyone know the truth?

    ephedra contains ephedra hydrochloride. it is an amphetamine ! but it is not as easily addictive

    if you were to take a drug test, and you took ephedrine it would come up at an anphetamine (sp). So yes it has the same structure of it, yet not as powerful/addictive.
