Saw Palmetto and DHT
Saw palmetto appears to inhibit 5-alpha-reductase, the enzyme that converts testosterone to its more active form, dihydrotestosterone (DHT). Moreover, Saw Palmetto blocks receptor sites on cell membranes required for cells to absorb DHT.
Would it be an added benefit to throw in Saw Palmetto with your next Test cycle to lower the chance of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, and androgenic alopecia, or do you think that the dimminished DHT levels would offset potentail muscle growth?

Saw palmetto will inhibit testosterone to DHT conversion to a certain extent. It's definitely worth using during a test cycle, i'm using 1600mg a day on my current cycle (test. cyp., d-bol).

I also use Nizoral 2% daily when on a cycle. Just though that the Saw Palmetto would be an added benefit.

Hmmmm, I just started....but I had never heard about it decreasing DHT conversion ... this concerns me.
