    CLen and androstenedione

I know neither one is a steroid , but would it be bad to use androstenedione during a cycle of clen (2 weeks on/2weeks off)? I have never used juice before, and I am not going to right away per some good comments from members here. Do you think the androstenedione woulkd help, it does raise testosterone . I have used it before, and there is a definet intensity boost and takes much longer to get winded when running. Thanks.

There would be no complications running the two at the same time. Now would I do it........no, only b/c I don't like prohormones but if that is your thing (for now) you will be okay

    Thanks

Thanks, I just want to see if there might be a bad reaction or not. THey are not really my thing, but I have a bunch of bottles from a year ago.(all the hype moved me) but never started using them until a few monthes ago. They seemed to boost intensity, so I would only use them on my workout days during my 12 week clen cycle. Has anyone heard of negative reactions, besides "that shit sucks"?

I can't knock pro hormones I did a 4 week stint of them followed by 6 weeks of creatine and cytodyne and put on 26lbs, some fat of course but that put me over the 200lb mark so I can't knock em too hard, lol.

If all you're looking for is intensity, try 2 weeks of clen and then 2 weeks of ECA, then repeat.

I have used some of the Nor products before...I kinda think they are ok, but then again I think they are more expensive than they are really worth. You can achieve similar if not better gains by using the using Creatine, Glutamine, & Protein, and Xenadrine if u are leaning as well.

As for your original question...I don't believe it will cause any adverse side effects using it with Clen at the same time.

    I would not use xenadrine

    Xenadrine contains ephedra

Ephedra can produce the following adverse reactions: heart attack, stroke, tachycardia, paranoid psychosis, depression, convulsions, coma, fever, vomiting, palpitations, hypertension, seizures, respiratory depression and death. The research adds to the long-standing controversy about the dietary supplement, which is also marketed as an energy booster and treatment for respiratory illness.

At the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's request, scientists at the University of California, San Francisco, reviewed 140 reports of serious problems with ephedra-containing products. Among the problems they found:

43 cases were definitely or probably related to the supplements
44 cases were possibly related to the supplements
    10 deaths
13 people who were left with permanent disabilities
To date, the FDA has reported over 44 deaths and over 1000 serious side effects linked to Ephedrine.

"The use of dietary supplements does pose a health risk to some people," says Neal Benowitz, MD, professor of medicine and chief of clinical pharmacology at the University of California, San Francisco. "Just because it's natural, doesn't mean it's safe." Benowitz and postdoctoral researcher Christine Haller, MD, reviewed the 140 reports of deaths or injuries the FDA received related to ephedra. Researchers concluded that ephedrine use "definitely" or "probably" caused harm in 31% of the cases. Of these cases, three people died, seven suffered permanent injury and four required ongoing medical treatment.

You may as well take AS

    Androstenedione Warning
As Mark McGwire established the single-season record of 70 home runs, reporters, sportswriters, columnists, and fans speculated about the possible role of the steroid , "Andro," in his achievement.

The Endocrine Society, representing the specialists who conduct hormone research and treat disorders of the endocrine system, wants you to know some important facts about androstenedione -- "Andro" for short.

    Here's what we know:
Androgens are the male sex steroids . They increase body hair, facial hair and acne; deepen the voice; enhance prostate growth; and promote muscle growth. The best known androgen is testosterone .
Androstenedione is a steroid. In the body, it is converted to testosterone. It can also be converted into the female sex steroid, estrogen, in boys and girls.
Androstenedione is not a banned androgenic steroid in baseball, but it is banned in most other sports, both in the U.S. and abroad.
Androstenedione can not be a dietary supplement, since it is not part of a normal diet.
The body has its own wisdom. Too much androgen shuts off the body's own production of testosterone. This can impair normal testicular function - "it shrinks your grapes to raisins."
The use of androgens is especially dangerous among adolescents in whom it is known to stunt growth.
    Here's what we don't know:
    Whether Andro improves athletic performance.
How much Andro is converted to male or female sex steroids when it is taken by mouth or injected.
How much Andro is absorbed in the body, or where in the body it goes. 4.Whether Andro shrinks testicular size like androgens do.
Whether Andro causes liver cancers and heart disease like oral androgens do.
How to detect Andro by drug testing.
The purity of commercial Andro is unknown, unregulated, and probably varies a lot. The user of Andro has no way of knowing what he or she is taking.
At present, it is not known whether Andro is either safe or effective. For these reasons, The Endocrine Society believes that more research is needed before any use of this agent can be recommended.
    ____________

This article was obtained from The Endocrine Society, which is the oldest, largest, and most active professional organization devoted to research on hormones and the clinical practice of endocrinology. In August 1999, McGuire announced that he had stopped taking androsterone in April.
