Question about canadian border

Sorry that this may be off topic and i hope that i dont get in trouble for asking this. What will i encounter from customs when i come back to the states from canada. I will be entering back to the detroit. i dont know what the area is like or what i will see. Ive been across the border beforebut never with anything i shouldnt have. Its just a small ammount nothing real serious. Ive never been arrested or in any trouble and have been a white u.s. citizen all my life. Basically im a normal white dude going to canada picking up something and bringing it back home through detroit. Just wanted to know if you guys might tell me some thing i need to know so i dont get in trouble. Thanks guys . Sorry this is off topic......deez

IT's really hard to say, i've only crossed once and going into canada customs asked a bunch of questions and checked id and what not but going back to US, they just elt me right through. Even when they hassle they rarely search unless you're really suspicious.

They do random searches as well. They also will weigh your vehicle on the way up and then on the way back they will weigh it again so i hope what you pick up isnt really heavy or moderately heavy. You can always buy a dvd or something up in canada and when they ask if you are bringing anything back say the dvd. And good luck, personally i think its too risky. Make sure that you are in your car, with your liscense and registration. If you are in someone elses car they will probably search you but no guarantees on that one. If i think of anything else i will post again

I have a hard time swallowing the vehicle weighing thing, i mean maybe if there's a huge mass difference, but you could be returning with a few more gallons of gas and weigh 100 pounds more, so unless you're bring back 100's of pounds of roids (lol) i wouldn't worry there.

I once went over the border by myself and came back with 3 of my friends so figure roughly about 550 pounds more and they asked me a **** load of questions about it. Then they searched my trunk but then just let me go. Probably because they had drug dogs sniffing all the cars in line.

I go to Canada all the time near the Falls. I think there are more questions trying to get into Canada than their are the US. Its pretty easy though. Just tell them you were there for the day and you didn't purchase anything. Its when you stay there for a length of time they get more curious cause tey want to know what you were doing there. 90% of the time going into US they are pretty cool. Just make sure you have your ID and dont say anything stupid and you should be fine.

I didnt know that you could buy gear in canada. I live near detroit and go across alot to the casino's over there. Can u just walk up to a pharmacy and purchase AS?? Someone tell me please!!

You can't buy gear in Canada from a legit store period. And they DO weigh your car brah's, so be careful.

I never doubted that they weigh it but they're looking for noticeable changes, ie a couple hundred pounds of pot or something, i'm saying if he's returning with a couple vials of test to not stress the weight thing.
