I do the same, but I got these one pins, and I swear I could only use them once, they got so dull, I would have to have someone jump on it to get it in...I have been using the terumo and like them

started thinking about the differences the other day when a friend brought it up. i think terumo slide in a lot smoother than B-D, but its not that big of a deal.

I know, but when done safe and clean..it okay, I use them until you have to jump on them to get them in. and it only goes in me and I make sure everything is clean..never had a prob...I dont think I have ever used one more that 7 or 8 times...maybe i can break that record..lol

PS dont try this at home...

wouldn't it actually be more trouble to clean the pin than to just get another one.....i mean you can get a syringe and pin for like twenty cents....i dont think that is very wise to use pins more than once.....i just dont think that reusing a pin outweighs the alternative of spending twenty cents on another one...JMO

and for the real question, i like terumo...i used bd my first cycle, and i thought that was fine....for my next i tried terumo and have never switched back....they just seem sharper and to slide in easier to me

what do you mean they stay sharp for a long time? are you not throwing them away each time you use them? you sound like some sort of crank who keeps them in a cupboard and keeps testing the sharpness out of the interests of science lol use them once, throw them out!

I've used both, and haven't noticed much of a difference personally. However, that is not the real issue of this thread....

The fact that you are reusing pins is not smart bro. that point has been clearly made by the others who have given thier input here, so now I'm concerned for your mental health as well. Paying $5 a pin is enough to drive anyone into a deep depression or a manic hysteria, depending on your mood at the time. Where do you live that it costs $5 for 1 pin?

I can tell you from my own dumb experience If you re-use the pins you risk infecting yourself and your gear with bacteria. Not a good thing. 4 weeks on anti-biotics and one ugly skin-rash was enough for me. Always use a new needle & Syringe.
