Steroids: coming off an injury

I have a question here that i havent gotten a clear answer to. I have just spent the last 10 months recovering from an accident. I've managed to get myself back to 100% when it comes to health, but not nearly where i want to be in terms of strength and power. My question is this: can i get on steroids now or do u think i should wait till i get back to where i was before... or does it matter at all?

This would be my first cycle...
what i'd take as my first cycle is not an issue.
