needle not deep enough??

This might be a silly question, but I have been searching and can not find an answer. Can you not put the needle into the muscle or tissue far enough. if you do not go into the tissue far enough what happens to the juice is it wasted or more slowly absorbed?? I use a 23 ga 1" pin for all sights, but am worried about my glute shots. I make sure the muscle is ready and feel around for it to be in the right spot, then inject the needle basically all the way in, leaving room for the possible break off of course. I know it goes in well in the delts but am concerned that it is being wasted in the glutes. Just looking for some experience or scientific knowledge on this one thanks.

i used a one inch pin before in the glutes and i got an absess worse than any one else ever had. Of course that is assuming that it was an absess and that i know what an absess is

I knew some dipsh** that used a 1/2" in his glute and never hit the muscle and injected into fat tissue, and he had to get it lanced.

But I always seem to feel better mentally about it when I use 1 1/2".

Anyone ever shoot into the glute and about a week later get a 1/8th of an inch black scab or something of the sort. Happened once but I just explained it to my girl as a nasty ingrown hair.
