    question of the day!

okay guys here goes. We all know at 19 your test levels are high. And we take steroids while dieting and cutting in order to perserve muscle. So is it safe to say that a 19 year old cutting is going to keep his muscle compared to a 30 year old dieting doing same diet/cardio each day?

well just like it is easier for a 19 year old to gain muscle then a 30 year (that is if they eat, sleep, and train the same). the 19 year old can probably workout longer and more intense also. therefore while cutting, im sure he will keep more muscle then the 30 year old. basically you want to be 19 all your life!

On average a 30 year old man would have more natural test than a 19 year old. Test production peaks around age 24 and stays fairly constant into the 70-80s.

I question this also. If this were the case, then why is HRT so common once the late 30's to 40s are hit. Lord knows at 38 Im not as horny as I was at 19, unless on cycle.

Another thing to think about is why do many 30-40+ guys take viagra and ALL 19 year olds can f*ck like a jack rabbbit, I would say because the 19 year olds natural test levels are higher, probably a good bit too, but just my opinion.

There's much more involved in growth/sexual function than simply how much test you have.

I don't have time to dig up journal publications right now, but I will later. I'm pretty sure that 17-19 would be the most accurate age range for testosterone level peaks, with lots of individual variation. Notice the increasing level of sex hormone binding globulin with age also. This is just as important of a factor in free testosterone as the actual whole testosterone count itself.
