Clomid is the anti-estrogen of choice for improving recovery of natural testosterone production after a cycle, improving testosterone production of endurance athletes, and is also effective in reducing risk of gynecomastia during a cycle employing aromatizable steroids .

Clomid: After a cycle is over, Clomid at 50 mg/day is usually very effective in restoring natural testosterone production. It acts by blocking estrogen receptors at the hypothalamus and pituitary. If androgen levels are not elevated, this is enough to cause production of at least normal amounts of LH, or often more LH than normal. During the cycle Clomid cannot prevent inhibition, though some think using it during the cycle will allow a faster recovery afterwards. That is not proven though. If nothing else, though, it is useful as an antigyno/antibloating agent during the cycle.

Nolvadex : This works in the same manner as Clomid, but not nearly so well with regard to reversing inhibition. It is better to use this only as an anti-gyno/antibloating agent, if at all. If Clomid is used, there is no need for Nolvadex.

Ok this is what I have just pulled from a site.According to this one can run Clomid or Nolva throughout and PCT without having to run both being they are both (Receptor Blockers) now in the case of on cycle I have read it is good to take Cytadren or Arimidex both (Aromatase Inhibitors) preferably Arimidex which is said to be the superior aromatase inhibitor because it does not carry same sides.

Just kinda curious as to why everyone runs Nolva and Clomid both when apparently you can use either alone being they are both receptor blockers.So wouldnt it be best say to run Clomid or Nolva and Arimidex through out cycle and post?

Clomid doesn't do as good of a job as Nolva does at keeping estrogen from binding to receptor sites....... Arimidex does a different job it tries to keep test from converting to estrogen.......

This is why it's smart to run a SERM (Nolva) and an AI (Arimidex) through your cycles..... You then have all the bases covered.

Clomid is best for PCT with Nolva then Arimidex
