Hey Everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas as to the cycles or types of "juice" any of the older / retired bodybuilders used to take. I'm talking about back in the days of Arnold Schwarzenneger, Lou Ferrigno, Franco Columbo, Dave Draper, etc. I have heard that they never had as many choices of drugs that we do today. Someone once even told me that all they had was D-Bol and Test-Suspension.
Any comments or opinions?
I know arnie used to eat d's like candy...

I don't think much has changed from then to now...there's not many new AAS around today, however they didn't have to make fina because that was around and the infamous PARABOLON.
I think d-bol, deca, and test is the bases for most bulking cycles, and fina, test, and winny for cutting cycles. I know in Bill pearls time, which is when arnie really just got started, he talked about using alot of vet gear because the human grade wasn't very plentiful or not available at all.
Mallet is on the money. I used to train in one of the oldest gyms in the country in Orlando Florida called the Orange Ave Gym. It was established by a wrestler named Milo Sanbourn and there were some monsters that trainedand juiced there. I did my first cycle 23 years ago and it was test enanthate, deca and anavar. The anavar was the real stuff from Searl Pharm and the deca and test was from a major Pharmaceutical company but I can’t remember which one. All of the tests have been around from around WW2. I remember I had the option of using d-bol, winstrol test cyp and prop, parabolon and all of these drugs had been around for a long time even then. All of the huge guys in the gym used massive amounts of test and D-bol. You may have been thinking longer ago than this though.Quote:
