    clomid and nolvadex

I'm still researching for my first cycle. But i have one thing that i don't quite understand, if clomid is a synthetic estrogen and nolvadex is an estrogen blocker wouldn't the nolvadex just cancel out the clomid? And responses on this topic will be greatly appreciated.

Clomid is a synethitic estrogen but it doesn't act like estrogen so to speak with regards to estrogens side effects. It' specialy designed.

    Read this, it may help.

Nice post Doc - just the thread I was thinking about - the clomid fills the receptor sites but is weak and doesn't have the same effects as full on estrogen

isn;t it novadex which fills the receptors but doesn;t have the same effects as normal estrogen.... and clomid stimulates the body to turn on the hypo axis?

Yes, except nolva doesn't have the same effects as estrogen because it's not an estrogen, just a clarification cause you worded it tricky
