    a few questions about nolvadex...

i have always been under the impression that nolvadex lowers igf level and that in does a number a number on your lipid profile.

can somebody shed some light on this one for me.

    thanx

Nolvadex has been shown to lower igf, but in doses we don't use, and lengths we don't administer. At 10mg ED throughout the cycle, and 20mg with clomid during PCT, igf decrease is insignificant. Now, a person using Nolva by itself for PCT might have a problem, as they would have to take much higher doses, and PCT would need to be substantially longer.

Nolva is a SERM, and actually is beneficial to lipids. It's the aromatase inhibitors like anastrozole and letrozole which can have adverse effects on lipids. A reason why Nolva should be used along side your AI during the cycle
