22 Gauge 1 inch good for Delt injects?

Will a 22 gauge be painful for a delt inject, and what would you recommend?

Higher the gauge the thinner the pin........... 22g is a lot bigger than a 25g

the only pain is the needle first going in, or if you happen to hit a nerve or run through a vein there's a little pinch

The thicker the guage the more scar tissue you build......... better to go with a higher gauge pin to cut down on the scaring

1.5" for glutes, 1" for every other site.

Doesn't hurt anymore than any other site. The hardest part about delt injections is trying to aspirate with one hand. And I can't do sh!t with my left hand.

Glute needs 1.5. I hardley ever do glute injects anymore. If I want to hit a large muscle for absorption i will go for the lateral mid quad with 1 inch 23g.

You can hit the glute with a 1" pin if you aren't carry much fat there. I can and have had no problems. The delt is my easiest spot to hit because you can see exactly where you are putting the pin, and unlike the quads you don't have to worry about nerves and veins that much.

I would stay away from 22g in the delt. Like the others said, 25g 1".

im doin my delts (and im not a huge man) with a 23-1 1/4, all deep in my delt!
no pain, no problem at all!

all i can get is 22g so all i use is 22, if you built up the balls for stabbing yourself then im pretty sure your not gonna cry over the difference of a 22 and a 25 gauge.

I am currently shooting in the delt and the chest with 1" 22 gauge pins. There is no pain what so ever. But then again i have never used anything other than 22 gauge. Delt injections IMO are easy and pain free..... Fuller

bro you know you can order more pins online... you're gonna have a **** load of scar tissue down the road..
