Is there anything i can get that is over the counter for hair so i wont start loosing it? i know of nizoral %2, i think 5% is prescription, and that stuff propecia or something is prescribed ,is there anything ?

just shave it... if ur pretty big then it shouldn't look bad. tiny guys look like kemo patients. If you're black then it will prolly look good. for some reason, black guys look a lot better bald than white guys - look at Terry Tate (I love that guy, lol)

I try to use Nizoral about 6 days a week, taking only one day off. The only negative side effect I get from the daily Nizoral regime is dry scalp. I try to keep the Nizoral on for about 10 minutes before rinsing.

The big hairloss 3 are proscar/propecia 1-1.25mg daily, minoxidil 5% twice per day, and nizoral 1 or 2% 3-4 times per week. That combination is really the best thing going. If it doesn't stop and reverse hairloss for you then you could try replacing proscar/propecia with avodart and using a 15% minoxidil solution overnight but give the first combo a good year before you judge the results.

Propecia works for me -- any doctor will give you a prescription for it and some research companies sell a liquid finasteride.

Minoxidil (Rogaine) is available OTC in Canada. I remember seeing it in Shoppers Drug Mart for like $45.

Just to add. I think looking at my results now I would say that a DHT blocker like proscar/propecia or avodart really just maintains what you have for most people, with avodart doing a small job of regrowth. I really saw a huge benefit adding a growth stimulator (minoxidil) with a dht inhibitor. I use nizoral 1% because I think it can't harm anything and could help slightly. There is a big difference in doing just one or the other and using them in combination. Trust me. Minoxidil can be a pain, if you have irritation from store bought go to www.minoxidil.com, he has less PG in the product, it shouldn't cause irritation and it dries faster.
