    Clomid sensitivity

Heres my question: can you desensitize yourself from LH by taking too much Clomid? Or using it for too long? I know HCG can cause this. The reason i ask is i dont think that my clomid therapy will be enough to recover and i am considering running another 300/100/50 therapy. But i dont want to become desensitized.

No, not likely. HCG, in high doses like many people use, is an LH mimic on a molecule for molecule basis. Clomid simply increases your natural LH production, which is severely diminished during HPTA shutdown. Clomid helps bring LH levels back to normal, which in turn brings testosterone production back to normal.
The high doses of HCG used provide supraphysiological surges of the LH mimic, which is what can lead to desensitization.
