**** customs

Ok, well i just got my package today. I have been checking my box everyday for the past week waiting for it. Finally i opened up the box and there it is....the beautiful package. I pick it up....it feels light???? I see a green sticker on the side says "inspected by customs." Get a little worried, so i get in my car and open up the package. Nope, not my test but a nice seizure notice. The only good thing is that it says on the bottom that no further correspondence is needed and case closed. ****, i hate losing money. And now i will have to spend more money and hopefully only have to wait a couple of weeks.

Anyways, i have a few questions.
1) I figure that i probably shouldnt order anything over seas to this address again, however, does it matter if it is domestic?

2) How many well respected sources will resend product if caught up in customs? Am i just dreaming or is this a real possibility?

Most legit sources will resend, I wouldn't order anything over seas again. Go domestic, a little more expensive but worth it.

My source is very good i just got some test E amps siezed and hes going to send them free of charge with the letter. happened to me last week! arg!

i don't send the money over seas without some guarentee if it is seized..

domestic........ well..... it's better to side on the side of caution don't ya think??

Ordering over sea's is a crap shoot...just be glad you didn't get a knock instead of a letter.
I wouldn't send anything to your house again...I know for a fact that once your address is flagged...it's flagged domesticly as well. Not saying that you'll get busted if you order domestic but I wouldn't take the chance.
Once an address is flagged it goes into a data base where the US postal inspectors as well as customs and other goverment agencies have access to that database.
Be safe and get a PO box. Or send it to a trusted friends house...

I think you're being wrought over. I was under the impression that if your package is seized, you don't get the box with a letter inside. You get a letter in the mail, from customs. I think you got scammed.. and it's a ploy by your "source" to keep the heat off of him.

No..sometimes they do send the empty package. Probably some inside joke the feds have with the intentions of pissing us off more....

i guess i never thought of that...what do others think of this? There is a case number on the bottom but i dont really want to risk looking into it. I do remember the source saying that they dont want to get knocked on if it gets caught by customs but that could just be irony. I guess that it really doesnt matter....if my source resends and i get my product then i will continue to use him....if not then im not sending any more money that way.

yeah and that joke sure did work.....sure had me fooled for another 30 seconds!!!

Domestic packages go through alot less scrutiny I think so thats why its safer, also their is more protection from searches on domestic mail. good luck, never bothered trying to go overseas seems overly complicated to me.

i'm just curious about this flagged address thing.. i think its more of a legend than anything (kinda like the permanent record thing in grade school..lol) i mean really, with all the millions of packs that come in our boarders daily, how are "they" to seize a pack at a certain addy then "mark" or flag it to be watched closer in the future? thats an insaine amount of time and manpower if customs has a group of officials sitting around all day just checking "flagged" addys?
i'm as paranoid as everyone else, but i dont subscirbe to the idea that if you have a pack siezed at one address that you can never recieve another at the same one again.. whos with me??

and another thing that makes me paranoid- threads like these and then that one "guest" viewing the same post? makes you wonder who the guests are huh..lol

I can tell you from first hand experience that address do get flagged...even after one package, and yes your mail will be watched from then on.
Example: My friend that got busted recently...the feds even knew that his uncle had a package seized a year ago, and alot of other stuff I won't get into. It's not not only the address...it's also your name. That's why It's important to use a name that's close to yours... and there's other safety steps to take that I won't disccuss on the open board.
What I've noticed recently is that alot of you guys take ordering AS over the net very lightly. Some of you don't think it's such a big deal until you got postal inpectors knocking at your door, then we got threads like "HELP I GOT BUSTED I'M SCREWED!"
I mean...the FEDS are not dumb guys by any means, most if not all are college educated, and they have systems in place specificly to combat the illegal importation of drugs into the US. These people do this for a living, and their getting better at it ever year when it comes to seizeing packages.
You never can be too safe when it comes to playing this game.....

naa I think alot of the guests are cool and just haven't signed up yet. I know thats how it was for me.

Whatever you do, DON'T check into it further. Acknowledging that you were to recieve a package from the sender directly incriminates you and leaves you in the open to be prosecuted should they wish to pursue it. Cut your losses. Sorry to hear it bro.

Everything is computerized, mechanically sorted, blah, blah, blah. It's very conceivable that it would actually require very little manpower to flag and seize mail destined for certain addresses. It's all computerized. When it comes across a certain address in the database, the mail probably gets re-routed to an inspection office.

This doesn't seem unlikely to me at all. After all, they do process millions of pieces of mail every day. Who's typing in all these flagged addresses? Interns. They work for free, or a pittance.

I think you are grossly underestimating the efficiency of information management and transfer.

This is strictly O/T, but a have a friend this happened to. Get caught cheating in a casino, and then try to go gamble at any other casino in the U.S. You won't. But with the millions of people in and out of casinos every day, how could they possibly tag one guy? They have their means. Face recognition software, name tracking, blah, blah, blah. This guy can't gamble anywhere.

I am with ya bro! I have never seen any cold hard FACTS on how many packs are getting seized. Sure you hear the horror stories about bros losing gear but HOW many are making it in. I'd love to hear the percentages on this(if it's even possible to estimate?). I think you hit the nail right on the head zx7...manpower, sure we live in the computer age, but who has the time to type in the all the names of the packs coming through to see if they have been flagged! Maybe they have some **** ing nominds there typing in names who knows? I just can't see it. If you think about it, with the advent of things like EBAY and all the wannabe EBAYS kicking around their mail volume must be enormous! If packs are coming from China or the Middle East with return addys with Pharma in the name they are making themselves easy targets Also if the source makes no attempt to conceal the gear and just chucks it in an envelope with some bubblewrap LOL sure the ****s gonna get nailed. On the other side of the International coin, I have heard of some bros from Europe sending gear over and never having a seizure in 4 years!! Another eurobro had only 2 in the past year!!
