Got Ripped Off at the Gym BAD. Who else has gotten stolen from in the Gym?

It was April 1st and I came down to the locker room. I looked and my lock was gone. I prayed it was an April fools joke but it wasnt. Some little **** came down and hit 5 lockers. He got My wallet, $250 in cash, all my credit cards and my new I730 nextel. Damages totalling over $500. How many of you have ever gotten ripped off fr4om your gym?

What I would have given to walk down there and catch him

how did that happen? 5 lockers, i would think ppl would be in the locker room enough for him NOT to hit up 5 lockers...leave that stuff at home or in my car.

I got jacked for a $2200 bracelet. Figaro 18kt 65grm's. I loved it. I left that gym because I could not help but look at everyone like they were a bitch for taken it. Peace
Oh and nine out of ten times it is the dude that works there. I should have left it in my car though!!!

I usually leave the wallet in the truck, everything else is in my gym bag, and it doesn't leave my sight.

I have never got ne thing stolen bc all i ever bring is a sweatshirt. but my friend left all his **** in his truck thinking it was safe when we came back his window was broken and his wallet got stolen called and canceled immedialtey but guy already racked up 1300 worth of **** at the mall across the street

I went from work..to the gym...to school to nights a week for 4years.So i showered there and ****..loaded gym bag.Never had a problem although i always left my waqllet in my truck.For some reason you get a sence of sercuity at the gym.You dont worry about getting jacked.
But about 3 months ago my buddy got his car broken into in broad daylight in the parking lot!window smashed and all

I had my **** stolen. The dumb kid started using my credit card. I went to each store he used the card at and found out if they had surveillance tapes. Turned all my information over to the cops and they CAUGHT him.

He had to serve time and pay me back for what he took.

yea i never take any thing into the gym for this very reason. leave your stuff in the car, i know people can break into your car but atleast insurance will help out. tha shiits at the gym wont for sure.

This will sound stupid but when i lived with my folks I had to carry my gear around in my gym bag! I had gotten caught twice, once by the cops and once by my folks, and i couldn't afford to get caught again. That gym bag went everywhere with me, to work, going out, the gym, and it never left my sight! When i say my gear, it was a Test E (2) Tren (3) Clen ( 150tabs ) Nolva,clomid's,HCG , pins, the works! I look back on it now and think how stupid that was and if i got it stollen how pist i would have been! Not to mention if i had gotten pulled over??? To this day i never got anything stolen at the gym but if i do and i catch him?????? Call the paramedics......

Ahhhh, the sweet taste of justice! Gotta love it when punks like that get busted. I have had **** stolen from me a few times (had my car broken into 3 TIMES, wtf), and I know the feeling. It sucks really bad. I'm glad you got him bro, nice detective work!

i never get robbed at hte gym - the gym is in my house on the the whole second floor guarded by 2 very very large dogs. I have better equip than most gyms 2 benches one flat one inclinne a pro lat machine, calf machine , on n on plus 2K of plates.

I also have several tripped out homies working out with me who would not hesitate to use their 357 with 4" tube on any MFr that made it past the 2 dogs.

I hope you catch this guy and get yer stuff bACK

I put everything I have in a small gym bag with my wraps and drinks and carry it around the gym with me. Some gyms don't allow this.Bit if they say anything to me i just tell them "I'll put the bag in a locker as soon as you give me something that says the gym is responsible for its replacement". Most gyms dont give a **** what goes on in the locker rooms.

I guess I am lucky, because everyone at my gym is very trustworthy. Me and everyone else at my gym just leave our stuff sitting out in the open in the locker room and I have never heard of anything being stolen.

I've never had anything stolen form mea t the gym.... mainly for the same reason as you. I've got a hack squat machine - 2 flat bench's - 2 incline and 2 decline bench's - curl/tricep machine - 1 pec dec - 1 incline fly machine - 1 leg press machine - 1 leg curl/extension mahcine - 1 calf machine - the legpress also has a bar for the calf's. 1 lat pull down machine - another lat machine (like bent rows) and an ab machine. Plus eveyr dumbell up to 120lbs and tons of plates of all sizes.

Our gym is also guarded by our 86lb boxer and our 6lb yorkie

and if they make it passed the boxer and then the yorkie - well then - they can deal with me and my father.......

What the hell... why is it you guys have to take everything to the gym with you? You can't be without your phone for an hour? Jee, you can call your boyfriend back AFTER you work out. And to not have a lock on your locker if you do decide you need half of everything you own with you at the gym is just asinine.

LOL...My training partner is 6' 225lbs and also a blue belt in BJJ and has a back ground in Muay Thai. he walked in on 3 kids, probably in their late teens ravaging through peoples **** and breaking into lockers. Not a prettty site at all, he beat the hell out of them. They should have given him a free gym membership for his help in deterring crime...

I had my lock cut off with a pair of bolt cutters once. They got my wallet, no cash but some credit cards and my car keys. I ended up not losing any money from the deal, but it was a pain in the ass to get new cards and a new drivers license.

My gym had a rash of break ins in the lockers...

They improved security a bit (better control of who goes in and out) and have 2-3 lockers with an alarm in them that they change at random. Heard the alarm go off once when an employee was moving it to another locker and it wasn't pretty... instantly all the "big guys" working out in the back sorta ran up to the lockers...

But call me paranoid, I leave my valuables in the trunk of my car... wallet, keys, phone, Palm...

I had 500 dollars cash in my pocket because I was coming from court and was going
to pay my fines on the way out of the building......but to make a long story short
when I walked in the gym some new guy was working the front desk and was acting like a puke trying to impress all the women I didnt have my gym clothes so I bought some and made the mistake of pulling my wad out of my pocket, didnt think anything of it.Get done lifting and change cant find my money look through the same pockets 10
times thinking it had to be there it wasnt of course, I was messing with the girl working the desk so I told her and she called the cops and my new buddy, the new guy
walked me through the gym trying to help me find it. I left cause I dont like cops and
I was pissed was having trouble trying to control myself. The girl that works there
called me and told me the guy working the counter bought her lunch after I left and was talking **** about me so his next morning I got up bright and early to talk to my
new buddy at the gym and the manager calls me in his office and told me fired him
for suspicion of stealing my money and someone else money morale of the story
dont keep anything of value in your locker without a lock
