black and blue mark from shot

24 hours later, I noticed a black and blue mark around the area I shot myself up with test. The area is flat (no bump and no redness, a dull gray) and feels a little sore to the touch, and it feels a little stiffer than the surrounding skin. . I don't know whether it's blood or oil. I went in an inch and half, but I could of been a little more steady (my hands where shaking a bit from working out arms hard prior). If it's oil, that means I wasted gear, since it is not going to be absorbed into the muscle. Now I'm debating whether to take another shot to compensate. Any thoughts?

no biggie, you've just bruised your injection area. Make sure you inject with a 23-25gauge needle and inject slow... Also try to be still during the injection. Moving the needle will bruise it as well...

I use a 20 gage needle, that probably doesn't help either

20 gauge is way to big for injection... I use 25 because it's small and it forces me to inject slowly.

Save the 20 gauge to drag the gear out of the vials... It's a lot quicker... then switch to 25 gauge pin for the injection. G'Luck.

Broken blood vessels near the surface that's all. I still have a bruise on my hip area from a month ago. No big deal. Keep it clean and make sure you sanitize before injection. Dont take a chance on infection and that area becoming abcessed.
