How big is the odds of Sides?

A couple of months ago, you guys talked my out of doing roids, but 2 of my friends that was planning to do it at the same time as me have not changed there mind.
Ive tried to change their mind but that didnt go so well, i guess im not the best person to try to talk them of it.
Anyways they are planning to hit Dianabol 10mgs for 60days, that sounds unneccery to me, but apperently their source sais that they will gain aprow 20pounds of mass (That wont go away), this sounds bs to me.
isnt it better for them to go 20mgs for 4 or 6 weeks?

And one of the guys is very short, and i warned him that he will stop growing in lenght, but hes source told him that it like all the other sides just comes if you have to high dose under a to long period, is this true? dont you stop growing from the first time you take the roids?

I'd get more info on your source first, he seems shady to me. Have you actualy seen any gear yet.

10mg/day of Dbol is perfect.......if your goal is to only take enough to suppress HPTA and not see any significant gains.
I'm not advocating them using a higher dose either. It's obvious to me that anyone that is able to be persuaded that a Dbol only cycle is a good idea is not ready for AAS. Sides are a potential at any dose of AAS. Sure, higher doses usually mean more sides, but that doesn't mean that lower doses are "safe" either. The last person you should take advice from is someone that has vested interest in what you're using/buying.

Just because your source sells steroids does not mean he/she knows how to use them.

In general, the chances of a person experiencing side effects while using steroids depends on (among many other things):
--the user's body chemistry
--the user's health
--the doeses used
--the type of steroids used/stacked
--the lenght of cycle
--the time spent off steroids between each consecutive cycle

Dbol should not be run alone and it SHOULD NEVER be run for 30 days in a row. Dbol should be used for 4 weeks (at the VERY maximum 6 weeks). Dbol is a 17 alpha alkylated (17-AA) steroid, which are hepatotoxic. Taking dbol at any dose for long periods of time can casue severe, irreversable liver damage that might not be immediately apparent to the user. Even while the damage is being done to the liver, the user usually does not know. It's not until that damage has grown into a chronic condition that the user realizes what has happened. By then, it is too late to do anything.

The first guy is:
16 years old (17 this year)
6.23 feet
160lbs
Worked out for 6 months
The second one is:
17 (18 this year)
5.6 feet
110lbs
worked out for a year


as you see the older one is pretty short, is there anywey (low dosege or not that long period of taking the roids) that he can prevent from stop growing in lenght? i heard something about winny not stopping that.
I know u guys will try to get them not to do it, but i promise you, there nothing you can say to change their minds, their all siked about it, especially since many guys in our school have used it with not so big sides, but im worried about them since their my friends and i know you guys would give them a god recommendation rather then a moneyhungry source.

lol... i absolutely find it hilarious how skinny teenagers think that steroids will make them HUGE. Doesn't happen. Diet is most important, then training, then sleep, then steroids. You can take all the steroids in the world, but if the first 3 aren't perfect, all you're going to get is bad acne, low sperm count, and liver damage.

there's no such thing as a good oral only cycle imo...

LoL they are far too young to be on steriods... not only do they run the risks of horrible sides such as gynocomastia, but they will never reach there full lifetime potential with only that small of an ammount of natural training if they hit the sauce. Steroids should be used when your older to break a platue, your teenage years are the most anabolic years of your life! take advantage of the free gear!

Considering there age as well, AAS can cause permanent damage to the growth plates at that age. You are still due cetain growth spurts at 16,17, and even up to 21. Steroids will permanently inhibit this growth due to the chemical inbalance and hormones. Also the gains from dbol are not permanent and water retained. Dbol has a high estrogen conversion and those are your gains not muscularity. I liked BASK8KACE opinion so I add to his and leave it to that.

First off, they shouldn't even be considering steroids in the first place. They are WAY too young. They still have natural growing to do. Anybody under 20 or 21 that takes steroids has a higher chance that they will damage themselves in the long run imo. Especially at the sizes that they are. They need to get their diets in check, and work out for a hell of a lot longer than 6 months to a year before they consider going to AAS. From what it sounds like, this 'source' of theirs doesn't give a flying **** about what happens to them. It sounds like he is interested in making money off of them, and that is it.

If they DO decide to do that rediculous D-bol only cycle, have they even THOUGHT to do any research on it? Have they considered PCT? My feeling is that they haven't. You need to seriously sit down and chat with your friends bud. Hell, refer them to this thread if you need to. But if they do decide to run that cycle without doing any research or anything else, I will have no sympathy for them at all.

In the case of these guys, yes...it does sound like their source is a douche bag who doesn't know what the hell he is talking about. My source, on the other hand, has given me some VERY good info on AAS and is a very knowledgeable person. He is actually a member here on AR. I learned more than half of what I know from him, the other half I have learned on this board since he referred me to it. :)

Ah, well true enough I suppose. I guess I have a unique situation. But then again, I have never had to deal with someone that was just looking to make money off of me. The fact that my source does in fact do a lot of research not only here, but on other boards, and the fact that he is a good RL friend of mine that I hang out with a lot probably has something to do with it, hehe.

So SCRATCH what I said before!! Unless you are 100% sure that your source isn't in it for the money from you, DON'T take their advice!

The common gym source knows nothing about how to use steroids well. In fact, many of the people who use steroids don't know much about them they just do what they are told--throwing caution to the wind.

YOU have a source from AR. So YOU'RE lucky. But, if I went out to random gyms across the US and picked out a few sources, many of them would not have the same knowledge as YOUR source. Don't confuse your personal experience with what is commonly lurking in the gyms. Many gym sources (AR members excluded) seem to be assholes who don't care about what they sell to a new user. They will tell new users ridiculous things and laugh at the fact that the naive get hurt in the process. There are posts on this board where AR members have caught gym sources doing exactly what I described above.

Count your lucky stars that you have a good source. However, I stand by what I said: Don't take advice from your source. Come check out the info on AR and use the knowledge that's floating around here rather than rely on the words of a gym source.

You're right man. And like you did say, that was based off of my personal experience. But if you noticed, I DID revise what I said. So I apologize about the first statement, but I did correct myself, as I realized that I had a unique situation. I agree that most users don't know a thing about AAS and will do pretty much whatever their source tells them, just for the fact that they are the ones selling them. People should be more aware of what they are doing to their bodies, but I am not naive enough to actually think that the majority of people WILL do just that.

Anyway....like I said before, unless you know 100% that your source is not just trying to get money from you (i.e. a situation like mine), then don't believe what they say and do your own research.
