has anyone had blood work done and they would not give you the results over the phone? The chick wouldn't even tell me wether it was good or bad said the Dr would have to review them and she was not in today! I had blood work done a few weeks ago and everything was fine but now she has me worried like I caught something in the last week or so?

No problem, standard procedure as the office clerk/ nurse is not qualified to comment on your results. Only your MD will talk about them.
Bro - only MD can speak to you about results - especially on the phone - HIIPA Regulations
well, if this is true then my doctor made a boo-boo. he had one of his nurses give me a copy of my blood work results and explain to me that one of the tests was a little out of range. i never even spoke to him about it. she told me he wanted me to get retested in 2 months and that was the end of it.Quote:
