    Liver Enzymes up need help!!

my liver enzymes are elevated and the dermatologist will not put me on accutane! Hdt or Hgl whatever they are are up 5-10 points to high. I don't know why I tested negative for everything out there including all the Hiv Hep b,c everything and I am not using any 17aa AS what should I do and what can I do she said it could be a mistake due to not fasting or possible alcohol but I don't know how since I had none do you think I have liver diesease?. Could it be due to advil or some kind of antiinflamatory or ephedrine? I need to lower them so I can get the accutane I will retest by blood later this week or next week all help welcomed please!

You should steer clear of alcohol and fast accordingly and get retested. If the test still show that you liver values are too high accutane probably isn't a drug that you should be on. Accutane's side effects are bad enough even w/out hurting your liver, how bad is your acne??

That means essentially nothing. You lift, which will, in most cases, elevate AST and ALT....these are just general indicators of liver "damage", although that term isn't accurate.
