quick question...may be stupid...can u make large amounts of protein shakes..i mean..it would be easier to make a gallon of the stuff than 20 oz each time...does anyone know if u make a big batch in a gallon bottle or more that it will stay good...i want to suck down these things on my lunch break at work but already have them made in advance...combined with skim milk is it all good if it stays in a big jug for a while or what?...this way if i make large amounts I can get a HUGE amount of protein per day...stupid question i know...anyone know if its cool for protein shakes to sit around for a while???????

i had serious mass and made like 10 bottles and put them in the fridge, after a couple days its like they all went sour, bad bad smell had to throw them all out , if you drink the whole batch in a day i dont see that being a problem.

I buy those take-along sports bottles and dump a scoop of protein powder in each one in advance and just stick them in the cupboard. Then when i am ready for one I just grab it and add water, don't need to get out the big bag of powder each time and this way is quick enough IMHO.

yep thats what i do...i just grab it, throw it in the gym bag, dont have to worry about it leaking, since no liquid in it...then after workout, fill w/ water at gym, then drive home + drink...yumm
