where do you guys buy your equipment. fairtec is high priced. i need gloves, mma gloves, a metal cup and sparring mask(helmet) thingy

They have the best club prices anywhere, they also have mma gloves, the same brand used by TKO here in Canada. I bought two thai kicking sheilds (not pads) for $90 Canadian, leather at that.

yea, the prices i see over here are crazy. i cant believe mma gloves are like $50-$60

Download the mark kerr highlight from sherdog, there are little pieces of many of his fights. I captured that picture from the Smashing Machine DVD. I like that documentary.

yes, i think ringside saw the growing MMA market and decided to launch that in the fall, The reason MMA gloves are so expensive is because they are considered novelty/special items since the sport is rare and hardly anyone practices it. But now every company i knw makes them, century, ringside, fairtex, kikskin, ouno, even harbinger make a bag-glove version that has a bar in the palm to enhance grip, everyone i know bought that one because it was cheapest at around 25bucks and they just cut the bar out!
The more gloves that come out..the cheaper they will all get.

I love the kickskin MMA gloves and Title muyTai pads... Ringside is good **** too!
