I do 3 exercises for my tris:

1. Either,
a) v-bar pushdowns
b) another type of v-bar pushdowns where the v-bar is wider. (my gym has 2 v-bars)

I heard these really build the outter tri.

2. Either,
a) rope pulldowns
b) strap pulldowns (same thing as the rope except it's a two handed strap)
c) one-handed strap pulldowns
d) dumbell kickbacks

I heard these really build the inner tri.

3. straight bar pulldowns but with an underhand grip (palms up)

I heard this really builds the 'horseshoe'.

What do you guys think of the exercises I have to choose from? Am I accurate in which exercises build each muscle (outter, inner, horseshoe?)

If they work for you, then Id say they are good. I personally start with close grip bench, then go to skull crushers, pushdowns and then mix it up with kickbacks, one arm reverse pressdowns or one arm db extensions.
If you havent given close grip bench and skull crushers a shot I think they would be worth your while. You just have to try a lot of stuff and find out what works. Good luck bro.

You need to use the straight bar reverse(underhand grip) press downs(pull down if reverse) as this will hit the outer head. Skull crushers again with straight bar using reverse grip also is good for the outer head.
