Been cutting for 12 weeks now, doing 45 mins of cardio(empty stomach in am). Question is would doing some HIT along with the cardio in morning or in place of cardio be beneficial.. I'm lean, just not as lean as a hoped at the end of summer...Would varying long low intensity cardio w/HIT cardio help out or burn more muscle than fat..

High Intensity cardio is the best if your goals are too lose bf % and maintain muscle. Don't combine them, they accomplish different things and require different levels of energy.

HIC is the best for cutting because it elevates your resting metabolism
