Anybody else have anything to say or are you all just going to look.
Constructive thought's please no personal bias or bogus opinions
from wantabe knowitalls, because the first person who believes he knows it all
ussually finds out he's already OBSOLETE.

Youre friggin huge man...IMHO I'd say as far as comps go shred the calves a lil more, but that may just be bc i can't really see them too well in the pics. Keep doin whatever your doin bc its workin.

DOUGTM1SS
09-27-2004, 05:30 AM
Thx Mushroomstampr, Calves Had Veins On Them But They Could Use Somemore Size.

Bro you look great, the only thing i see from these pics (and it's constructive critisism, but i know you already know that) is the Lat width, you need to bring up the width abit, that will further shrink your already tinny waist, and better your already good symetry...we can talk about that via PMs if you want i will give you what i think could help with that...look great thou Bro and Congrats...Job well done...XXL

Thx Mike Xxl, Yeah I'll Send U A Pm For That
My Main concern is the inside of my legs around my knee it's always the last to totally disappear but a lot of veins show when I'm on stage, just if i could get my legs more ripped nexttime,(note: head judge told me I was holding just a little more water than the winner of the class.) oh well I know what i did wrong i think(hard to control water intake when your used to drink two gallons a day down to a quart in gradual increments(distilled water)

Oh come on, honest opinions don't hurt here they can only help, as long as they are constructive, since over 1455 looked at these pics no one else would like to say anything constructive? :hello:

I would say detail work is needed for the calves. Your calves looked bigger than your comp, though. Just can't see the obvious seperation between upper and lower calves. I don't know, it could be the pics. Back width, yes. You need to go as wide as possible on your waited chins. Wide grip bent over row machine if available. Really squeeze at the top. I hope I look half as cut as you when I'm that old. For the wheels, I don't know. Ask Bigol'legs.

Thx 63190, yeah I have to agree with you about the calves they do need a little more work inregards to attention to details, they were vascular as hell an bigger than I have ever seen them ever, but yeah I feel they need more work (under Construction)
Back width I've been working with Mike XXL on that and I already have been doing as you've suggested but the bars only go so far and when contest training comes into play even in the off season I always focus on the contraction in every exercise I do.
Being called OLD, your as old as you feel, heck ppl have thought I was in my twenties or early thirties and they are ussually way off, but I just say thank you for the nice compliment and then tell them how old I really am, they are ussually very suprised or just say," no way you can't be 42", but I get my drivers license out to prove it.
Bodybuilding is an art trying to get ppl to believe in your illusion like a magic act
would but with different results, besides it's alot more fun, than pulling a rabbit out of a hat.

;)

Bro.. for your age.. hell for anyones age your looking pretty good.

Like mike said you need more lat width. And your hams/glutes were holding a lot more water than anywhere else.

Another crituqe... you need to "loosen" up on stage. Is this your first comp? As you get more under your belt you'll feel more comfy onstage. Looks like your pretty tense.

Doing a great job.. keep it up. And did you up your vit. C intake along with the distilled water? What kind of dieretics did you take?

I think you put your arms too far forward on your rear double bicep pose, which robs you of a bit of width and size, JMO.
But you look awesome!

DOUGTM1SS
10-05-2004, 06:58 AM
thx PRIME, Yeah ur probably right, , but some earlier pics where for practice b4 the show, I ordered my contest video's to see the in slow motion or frame by frame, to go over my flaws, which from what i've been told aren't many for someone my age.
