questions involving ephredrine

Ok, i just recently turned 18, and have been thinking about taking ephredrine (cause tis very availible to me) to cut some fat, can anyone tell me and short or long term effects of taking this, how fast results would show, if there is anything better i could take...

i purchaesd this stuff before it became banned last april.. i tried it for a few days.. it did give me energy.. then i was reading threads about side effects... one of the side effects i noticed immediately was diarhea for days, i dont know if this goes away after u get used to it.. but i dont need that.
