Are there any links/studies around that show the long term (3 years or greater imo) of HRT/TRT ?

What I am trying to find out is whether or not long term TRT is permanently suppressive and how it affects the body's ability to produce sperm once administration is discontinued. Also , does long term TRT even slightly damage the chance of ever having children?

I have done searches and cannot seem to find anything.

TRT works for me, but one day I would like to have kids, and am worried about being "TRT dependent" in the future should I decide to stop the medication. Would HPTA return to normal, no matter how long a person was on TRT?

Thanks in advance!! :)

Try these forum links. They have some great info. I have been on HRT for 4 years and my wife is with child. With the addition of HCG to the HRT protocol you should be able to keep all of your reproductive functions.

The big question that I have is this...

What kind of success rate is there with using hCG or whatever in re-setting the HPAT Axis after several months (or more) of TRT (AndroGel)?

I became hypogonadal as some aspect of a still as of yet unknown medical issue (first thought to be possibly Cushing's Disease and now thought to possibly be a Pheo tumor in adrenal gland). I have both highly elevated cortisol levels and highly elevated adrenaline levels pretty constantly (so I get the benefits of weight gain/fat AND severe anxiety).
