Question about Ar-r's 4g kit

There is a lid on the glass vile and I want to cook the oil. Will I risk braking the glass if I try to pry it off the cap with needle nose plyers? There is only one glass vile with this kit. Any suggestions?

Ive heard that the pin will melt. Is it a must that I cook the product? Wont the ba solution alone steralize?

You bake it to make sure it is completely sterilized. Some sort of heating is a necessity. If you have an 18g pin there should not be any danger of the plastic melting and covering the openings.

you can also use the stove method, and yes there are studies that have shown that BA will sterilize all without baking
