Injecting HCG

Hey a quick question for those who have injected hcg. I just did a 500iu shot intramucular and when I pulled the pin out blood just started comeing out really fast so I quickly pick my cotton ball with alcohol on it and pressed hard after a few minutes I look at the cotton ball and it looks like all the hcg i injected came out becuse theres about 500ius of blood on the cotton ball.
Am I doing something wrong, should I of held the pin in there longer to let the water get absoarbed more into my system? Any help is apperciated

Did you aspirate before injecting?

chances are you just went through a vein. if you aspirated and you pulled a lil air you should be ok... just when you pulled the pin out it started bleeding due to a peirced vein.
