Sorry if the answer to this is obvious but i just dont knwo cause i have never really hurt myself ever. i strained my neck during shrugs on the right side and it hurts to turn my head to the left. do i use heat to help the problem or ice??? thanks

ICE!!!! 20 minutes everyn two hours(try to do it at least 3 to 5 times a day)for 7 -14 days. at this point then you can alternate 10 minutes ice 10 minutes heat then 10 more minutes ice intervals.

thanks will go with the ice.. I doubt it will take more than 5 days to heal.. Ive done this more than once doing other exercises.. thanks again.

see a massage therapist that does deep massage...(sorry no happy ending)
works everytime.. it's very painful.. but it really fixes you up..

that sounds like a good idea.. actually got a good massage parlor here that hooks up the happy ending. Maybe i can get a discount if i pay for both the neck and their signature "abdominal" massage.. :lol:

lok for a sports amssage therapist or a chiro that does A.R.T.(active release technique)save the other massage place for guys night out!hahaha
