Hey I just got a runners catalog in the mail. I know I've mentioned my leg injury but I also lost a toe nail. This has effected my running sched. big time, I can only do so much epliptical indoors. Anyway, in the catalog they were selling some funky toe nail covers. They claim to prevent toe nail cost...has anyone ever used this before? I'm a sucker for buying unnessesary running gear. Let me know.

never heard of this, but i think you are asking the wrong people. does this board have a place for runners only? maybe you should Pm 'sprinter1" he is a runner.

how'd you lose the nail in the first place?

how'd you lose the nail in the first place? running a 1/2 marathon w/ shoes that were too snug.

That probably hurt, huh? I lost a toe nail once, had some heavy weight dropped on my foot with no steel toes on. Ouch!!

hmm...maybe simply having shoes that fit properly would help???
