r-ala is a powerfull antioxidant both water and fat soulable(did I spell this right)? It also improves insulin sensitivity. Overall great supplement both for health and bodybuilding.
I have no clue what the other thing is.

agree
soluble :)
the term for water and lipid soluble is amphiphilic

there is no evidence the K-rala is effective, certainly none that its more effective than R+ . Because of its increased water solubility it likely has a greater excretion rate. Also since its made via extraction instead of synthesis, it is generally an 80/20 R/S blend. However since there is no LEGITIMATE test for purity, even that is an unknown.

hey macrophage69alpha,
I did finally buy some glucorell R from the link in your sig. It is at a discounted price I found out after doing my research but after shipping I ended up still paying 30 bucks for one bottle of pills that will last only a couple of weeks at best.
I read the whole spsheel about how awesome glucorrell R is the best combo in the world but IYO do you think that just some good ole Alpha Lipoic Acid with Biotin is just as effective?
It's a hellova lot cheaper!

IMHO no there is no comparison between R+ and racemate.
Now for certain effects racemate may be comparable- like solely for glucose clearance- (at higher dosages ie 300-400mg to every 100mg of R+) but with respect to overall health, lean bodymass impacts and insulin sensitivity they are just not even in the same realm... mostly because the S- isomer works against the R+ isomer in many aspects.
agree that getting just one bottle of the 120ct is only an OK deal because of the shipping costs, but with the 240ct if you get 2 bottles its comes out to be less than the unshipped 120ct. As with most things on the net larger orders tend to be much more economical because of the base cost of UPS/FED EX shipping. Plus higher count bottles are always cheaper.
Something to consider when deciding whether it worth the cost is that its a supplement that provides significant health benefits aside from just the aesthetic ones.
