Russian Bear 5000 chocolate..and there whey protein"bodytech" chocolate. Seen mixed reviews on the Russian bear, but nothing on the Vitaminshoppe whey tech, the 92 serving size jar. Any thoughts? Was planning on taking the russian bear, but only less than half the recommended serving size( 2 scoops)...while taking the whey and some creatine mono. And one more question, i have the bodytech pure creatine mono, none micronized stuff from a little over a year ago..could it be expired?? thanks

Vitamine Shoppe Brand tastes like ass, thats all I know.

some of their private label supps (capsules) are not bad (price wise either). There are very few private labels that are all that great, especially when it comes to taste.

lol...alrighty, ill consider the mortar idea. But is there Anything that i could add to my diet to boost the gains...i started working out again after stopping for a 1-2 months, i gained all my weight back in 1 1/2 weeks. Thats 7 lbs.

i used to be an asst. manager at vitamin shoppe, yea their protein tastes like crap but all of their products are made by other larger companies i.e. optimum nutrition, eas, and just the same for all their other products, so everything "bodytech" and "vitamin shoppe brand" makes is actually a good product they just package their own products but they dont actually make them

this reply is a little late, but i just bought VS's Whey Tech, and I think it's great for the money. The Protein/Carb ratio is great and it's low in sugar. IMO, it tastes just fine, comparable to Designer Whey. Also, I'm planning on buying some Russian Bear 5000. Let me know how it works.

Also, try to stay away from those generic Whey concentrates, there's too much variance. Why isolate contains 90% or more protein and very little (if any) fat and lactose. Whey protein concentrate has anywhere between 29% and 89% protein depending upon the product.
