ephedrine and clen

I know the 2 of these have some similarities

my question is...

1) If I have been on ephedrine for several months, will that negatively affect any clenbuterol useage?

2) If it would negatively affect it, how long should I dump the ephedrine in order to "clean my receptors" (or whatever)
